Pittsburgh wedding photography that looks like you

Hi, I'm Alex. I photograph weddings and engagements across Pittsburgh and Western PA, and I care about three things. You both look and feel like yourselves in your photos. Your day feels calm and easy. And you know exactly what you're paying from the very start.

Do you photograph proposals?

Yes, I photograph proposals in Pittsburgh and Western PA. My Engagement Mini, The Proposal, is a 45-minute session at one location, and its price is on my Wedding Packages page. Reach out through the contact form with your plan and your date.

Do you photograph more than weddings?

Yes. Besides weddings and elopements, I photograph engagements, couples, families, and senior and graduation portraits. Session prices are on my Wedding Packages page.

Do you edit all of our photos?

Yes. I edit every frame myself. Every image is individually color-corrected and hand-edited, never batch-filtered.

Yes. A premium fine-art album is available as an add-on, and you can also have your gallery delivered on a custom engraved USB drive. Prices are on my Wedding Packages page.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes. Every collection includes a personal print release. Pearl, Sapphire and Ruby also come with a print credit, and you can order additional prints. The details are on my Wedding Packages page.

Can we print our photos?

I'm based in Pittsburgh and cover all of Western Pennsylvania, including Butler, Erie and Ohiopyle. I'm happy to travel for weddings and sessions beyond that, and I've photographed across the Northeast and beyond. Details are in your custom quote.

Do you travel outside Pittsburgh?

Yes. My Elopement collection covers 1–3 hours with one photographer, and it includes a private online gallery, a 24-hour sneak peek and a personal print release. For a smaller celebration that needs more of the day covered, Pearl gives you 6–8 hours. Prices are on my Wedding Packages page.

Do you photograph elopements and small weddings in Pittsburgh?

Most couples book 9–14 months out, especially for peak-season Saturdays. I recommend reaching out as soon as you have a venue. I'm booking weddings for 2027, 2028 and 2029 now.

Send your date through the contact form and I'll usually reply within 24 hours. Once we've connected and you're ready to move forward, I'll send you an agreement to sign. Details are in your custom quote, and online payments are accepted.

As a guide, you'll get about 50–100 photos per hour of coverage, so a full wedding day typically comes to 600–900+ edited images.

You'll get a 24-hour sneak peek of a few favorites the day after your wedding, and your full edited wedding gallery is delivered in 6–8 weeks. Sneak peeks are for weddings only. Engagement and portrait galleries arrive in full in about 2 weeks.

It depends on how much of the day you want covered. Elopements run 1–3 hours. Pearl covers 6–8 hours and suits smaller celebrations. Sapphire covers 8 hours and Ruby covers 10, both with two photographers. If your day runs long, you can add extra hours, and I'll help you plan the timeline so the hours go where they matter. Add-on rates are on my Wedding Packages page.

A second photographer lets us cover more angles and moments at the same time. Sapphire and Ruby include a lead and a second photographer. With Pearl or an Elopement, you can add a second photographer by the hour. Rates are on my Wedding Packages page.

Yes, an engagement session is included with Pearl, Sapphire and Ruby, and you can add one to an Elopement. You can also book one on its own: a 45-minute Mini or a Signature session of up to 1.5 hours. Prices for both are on my Wedding Packages page.

Every collection and its current price is listed on my Wedding Packages page, so you know where you stand before we talk. There are four wedding collections, from a 1–3 hour Elopement to Ruby's 10 hours with two photographers, plus engagement and portrait sessions and add-ons. In the Commonwealth of PA, 7% sales tax is added.
